As a Lifeguard, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our nursing home residents during pool activities.
The ideal candidate will hold a valid Lifeguard certificate and CPR certification, and be available to work full-time hours.
Responsibilities:
Lifeguard the pool area to maintain a safe environment for residents.
Enforce pool rules and regulations while ensuring a positive experience.
Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies or accidents.
Assist residents entering or exiting the pool when needed.
Conduct regular inspections of the pool area for safety hazards.
Keep the pool area clean and organized.
Communicate professionally with residents and staff.
Attend training sessions to enhance lifeguarding skills.
Requirements:
Valid Lifeguard certification and CPR certification.
Ability to work full-time hours on day shifts.
Strong swimming skills and knowledge of water safety.
Excellent observation skills for quick response in emergencies.
Good physical stamina for prolonged standing, walking, and swimming.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
